What is a Lead?

  • A lead is information about a person or business with a need, that a member of    the MBA can provide assistance and/or service
  • A "Direct Lead" is a led directed to one specific member.
  • A "General Lead" is a lead from which several members could benefit.
  • A "Doing Business Lead" is a business that we are giving to another member    personally.
  • A lead for the MBA is any person or business with an interest in joining a    networking group and is in a category in which the MBA has an opening.

  • How to Find a Lead

  • L: Listen, Look and Lend a hand to Promote others.
  • E: Encourage the use of group members businesses and Enjoy the same in return.    Hand out copies of the MBA Directory for promotion.
  • A: Acquire contact names and telephone numbers of those individuals or    businesses with a need.
  • D: Deliver prospects to other members or to the Maricopa Business Alliance.
  • How to receive a Lead

  • L: Look up the prospect by phone or in person.
  • E: Endeavor to sell your business to the prospective client.
  • A: Add sales to your register.
  • D: Don't forget the Thank You!
